Blonde healing

Healer: a character class playable in the Disgaea series of games, is a great example of ellegant and original design by series artist Takehito Harada. Definitely not what you would expect in a healer.

For Makai Kingdom, a slight redesing was added. Gone is the slit on the skirt, but the healer became more curvy, something that works very well with the overall design of the dress. Sexier and definitely more ellegant.

And in Disgaea 2, there was a small retouch, as the slit returned. This artwork also has been used in Disgaea 3.

Frozen goddess

Celsius: she first appeared in Tales of Eternia as the ice craymel (summon spirit), whe she is helped by the wolf Fenrir. She seems to dislike humans, and lives in a faraway cave. She’s also an expert at martial arts. Due to her surprising popularity (she even ranked 4th in the first Tales popularity contest) she was given a long scene in Tales of Fandom vol. 1, and later returned as a summon in Tales of Symphonia, and as a playable character in Narikiri Dungeon 2-3 (actually it’s your character cosplaying her).

Fashionista
May 2, 2008
Josephine: one of the playable characters in Suikoden V, she calls herself a “fashion diva”, and joins your team just because she considers another team member a worthy fashion rival. Her real name is Yuma, but she thinks it sounds too “uncultured”, so she changed it. She’s a bit eccentric and snotty, but fun to have around.

Girl Spike

Simone: tall and beautiful, but very dangerous soldier, one of the main playable characters in Cannon Spike. She’s actually based in Lynn Kurosawa from Alien vs Predator arcade, but since Capcom doesn’t owns her rights (being a licensed game), her design was tweaked a bit, adding tan skin and pink hair. She still uses a futurist gun and a katana.

F! O! E!

Dark Hunter: a character class playable in the Etrian Odyssey dungeon crawlers. Unlike the classic healers or knights, the game had a few unusual jobs, and the status attacks-oriented Dark Hunters are a good example. All their techniques seem to be S&M based, with names like “shackle”, “cuffs”, “gag”, “ecstasy” or “climax”.
Like all the other classes, they come in four appearances, two female (pictured here) and two male.

Three moms are better than one
April 11, 2008
During the confusing NESTS storyline in The King of Fighters 99 to 2001, a new character named Kula Diamond was introduced. While an interesting character by herself, a cute but strange girl with ice powers, she was notable for working with three other girls, that seemed to have been in charge of her education as well, working as a family.

Candy: A robot with some resemblance to Kula, was destroyed during The King of Fighters 2000. A new identical robot took her place later, but Kula didn’t shows the same level of atachment to it. Playable as an alternate outfit for Kula in the Maximum Impact games.

Diana: A strong and tall fencer, with bizarre hair, she is seen lovingly hugging Kula at the end of some fights. Probably the most mom-like of the team, and the only that hasn’t been playable so far.

Foxy: Tan skinned, also a fencer, at first she appeared in some of Kula’s animations, but in The King of Fighters 2001 (and only in that game) she made a playable appearance. She seems to die later in that game, but in SNK’s website she is confirmed to have survived.
Spicy woman

Pepper Box: one of the playable characters in the Evolution saga of videogames. Defined as a “foxy babe”, she’s a treasure hunter that will aid your team in dungeon exploring, for a fee. You can find her at the local bar, where she works as a bouncer (and apparently drinks a lot). Her cyframe (weapon) is named Moran Saulnier, and she is named after a real type of weapon.

Beautiful insanity
April 10, 2008
Lujei Piche: A powerful sorceress, she was seen as a menace by other wizards, that had her killed with a poisoned rose by her apprentice and lover. Dangerous and insane, she eventually got revenge (the talking skull on her staff are her lover’s remains), and now travels between worlds making mischief.
She first appears in Grim Grimoire, where she plays a big role, and also makes an appearance in Soul Nomad & the World Eaters, as a hidden playable character.
